Thanksgiving single-event 5K in the US
largest 5K in SC
The Turkey Day Run has been a Lowcountry Thanksgiving tradition since 1914. It attracts runners and walkers from 35 states, Canada, and Mexico — all paces, all ages, all welcome.
The USATF-certified 5K winds past Charleston's most iconic landmarks — the Four Corners of Law, White Point Gardens, King Street, and Marion Square.
Top finishers take home cash prizes up to $500. Gift cards from Fleet Feet go to the top ten. Random prizes given away at the post-race celebration.
A Children's Fun Run at 10:30am means even the youngest members of your crew get their moment. Activities and healthy treats for all ages at the post-race party.
Every registration supports local charities. Past recipients include Charleston Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, American Cancer Society, and Pet Helpers.
Cross the finish line and head straight to Marion Square for the post-race celebration. It's free for all registered participants and it's the best part of Thanksgiving morning.
